There are very few movies that hook you from their trailers. “Apurva” is one such upcoming thriller movie that looks promising. We can hope it delivers something substantial to talk about.
It stars Tara Sutaria, whom we have seen in forgettable roles in movies like “Marjawan,” “Ek Villain Returns,” and “Heropanti 2.” In this film, Tara is taking on a challenging role for the first time. The crisp trailer shows us the story of a simple girl who is about to get married but faces a disturbing incident that nobody could have imagined. It is a story of the strength and courage shown by a girl in adverse circumstances.
While talking about the negatives, the movie seems to be following a repetitive storyline with a lack of novelty. The movie is set in a rustic environment and shows us a glimpse of the ruthless world of crime and violence, reminiscent of what Anushka Sharma did in “NH10.”
“Apurva” also features actors like Abhishek Banerjee, whom we’ve seen in “Paatal Lok,” and he seems to have mastered roles like this. It also has a surprise in the form of Rajpal Yadav, whom we mostly know for his comedy roles, but here he appears to be fierce. “Apurva,” directed by Nikhil Nagesh Bhat, is set to release on 15th November on Disney+ Hotstar.
