Last year, Netflix created a sensation with its star-studded web series “Guns and Gulaabs.” Raj and DK, known for blockbusters like “The Family Man” and “Farzi,” brought a distinct flavor to their direction. The show, featuring Adarsh Gaurav, Dulquer Salmaan, Gulshan Devaiah, Shreya Dhanwanthary, Suhani Sethi, and many more, received high praise, especially for its humor and unconventional writing.
The performances were outstanding, and aside from that, the unique incorporation of vintage music became one of the most talked-about features of the show. Now, the makers are planning to bring its sequel, completing the character arcs.
“Guns and Gulaab” began with Tipu, a simple guy portrayed by Rajkumar Rao, who is the son of Babu Tiger, a drug lord. He is forced to enter the world of violence and drugs, influencing others like Arjun, Atmaram Jugnu, and many more along the way. The show ended on a cliffhanger with Tipu killing Atmaram while sustaining severe injuries himself.
As the next season is in the works, expectations are high for this show. Only time will reveal the fate of “Guns and Gulaabs,” set to arrive soon on Netflix.
