Now, the Elon Musk effect is shadowing Disney, especially Bob Iger, and it is their act of ‘blackmailing’ that is causing such a downfall.
Musk, during his talk in the DealBook Summit, said that Disney and some other corporations have been blackmailing him with money and advertisements. After the statement, Bob Iger got a special mention, causing a massive stir on social media.
Now, Twitter is flooding with several allegations that many people are pretty salty about Disney’s treatment towards Musk. Keeping that as the primary reason, thousands of people are turning their heads towards Disney and their services.
Certain news outlets claim that thousands of people are actually canceling Disney+ as an aftermath of this treatment. Even people are openly rioting regarding this, claiming that it’s not just them, but the ban on Disney will affect their ‘Kids’ too, as an act like this won’t be tolerated.
Disney, even during the strike, was at the very epicenter, fighting a plethora of allegations. Even after that, with the usage of AI, they acted in a pretty shady manner, and now, this. Disney definitely needs to come out clear on multiple occasions to make people ‘like’ the Studios again.
