Faruk Kabir has officially unveiled the teaser of his upcoming series Salakaar. It is reportedly set to stream on JioHotstar just ahead of India’s Independence Day.
Known for his emotionally intense and character-rich storytelling, Faruk described Salakaar as a “labour from the heart” and a personal tribute to India’s National Security Advisor, Shri Ajit Doval.
“This is my tribute to him in the most authentic way,” he said in an exclusive interview, calling Doval his inspiration and a “living legend.”
The official teaser of Salakaar paints a gripping picture of patriotism, loyalty, and national duty. Interestingly, the cast also includes Mouni Roy in a refreshingly unglamorous, layered role.
She’s also joined by talents like Naveen Kasturia and Mukesh Rishi. The teaser leans into a cerebral tone and promises more than just action. So, viewers can expect a mix of emotional stakes and political intensity in the series.
