People are not very satisfied with Jio Hotstar’s IPL streaming and bad commentary is one of the leading reasons. Fans have been complaining about Hotstar’s commentary board for quite some time now, but now that IPL has started, they are frustrated with it.
Navjot Singh Sidhu is almost a permanent member in the commentary board and even if a minor portion of the audience is amused by his style, most of them want Hotstar to get rid off him.

They say Sidhu tells jokes, makes tangential comments and takes the focus away from the game and it is not very appreciable. A little bit of fun is okay but a more serious team has to be given the responsibility of the commentary.
This is a serious concern as the commentary is an integral part of the match and people have as much fun with the commentary as with the match. And it should not be trivial or in bad taste at all.

Jio Hotstar should start considering the situation and make some changes in the Hindi commentary for IPL and it will be for the best both tor fans and the platform.
