The big question is,are these reactions genuine or part of a well paid promotional strategy?

All the eyes now turn to July 4, when the show finally drops for the public.

Directed by the well received director Nagesh Kukunoor, “The Hunt” captures one of the most haunting political traumas of Indian history.

The horrifying assassination of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi. With his carefully crafted narrative style, and sensitivity towards the subject.

Kukunoor appears to be attempting a very risky walk, staying sensitive to the gravity of the subject while creating a gripping thriller. If anything goes south there will be huge consequences.

The early buzz praises its pacing, factual balance, and performances, particularly making the series look like a piece of reality.

But given the political area of the subject, the show is stepping into polarizing territory.

What makes “The Hunt” interesting is its potential to open a dialogue around one of the most talked about historical Justice.

However, its fate lies in its ability to balance between reel and reality. Whether this buzz is the result of genuine appreciation or PR promotions, July 4 will be the real judgment day.
