Netflix India has had a relatively better time when it comes to business. The funding company is finally seeing the kind of progress and growth in the industry that it had aspired for. It has taken some years but it looks like Netflix finally found the right formula to succeed in the streaming business in India which has many players in the field.

The co-CEO of Netflix, Ted Sarandos feels very confident about the company’s growth in the country. He believes that getting to 100 million subscribers in India is achievable. The company is likely to keep on investing in the Indian market with hope for even better returns.

Recently, Netflix has given emphasis on regional and Indian content along with other non english content from all around the world. This diversification of the library has helped Netflix to increase their subscriber base.

Netflix is aiming to reach 100 million subscribers in India. This is one of the reasons it is not keen on introducing ad-supported plans in the country as it feels there is huge potential for growth.

Currently there are around 6.5 million subscribers of the platform in India. This means that the goal Netflix is looking for is a far shot.
