Vikram’s most anticipated movie, Thangalaan, directed by Pa Ranjith, was released in theatres on August 15th and ended up as a flop venture, as the movie didn’t meet the expectations of the audience.
In this scenario, the night before yesterday, without any proper updates, Thangalaan was released all of a sudden on the Netflix OTT platform. Initially, after the release, some audiences appreciated the movie, but now, OTT audiences are also sharing negative responses to the movie.

After watching Thangalaan on the OTT platform, many audiences are sharing their responses on social media, mentioning that Vikram’s acting performance in the movie was highly appreciable and that he had given his soul to the movie.
But other than Vikram’s performance, although the story was set in a never-seen-before backdrop in Indian cinema, Pa Ranjith’s own elements and flat screenplay were the major negatives in the movie, according to the audience.

Also, some people are appreciating GV Prakash Kumar’s background scores in the movie, while at the same time, some are trolling Malavika Mohanan’s getup and her acting performance in the movie.
It looks like the Thangalaan movie is a failure on OTT too, and Vikram’s hard work for the movie got wasted. Let us hope Vikram will make a strong comeback with his upcoming movie Veera Dheera Sooran.
