A Netflix series that just released today is going under everyone’s radar: “Killer Soup.” It’s slightly weird that the series stars a stellar cast including Konkana Sen Sharma and Manoj Bajpayee, yet it’s going unnoticed by people. The lack of promotion is evident.
Despite having a beautifully crafted trailer for this suspense thriller that left us on a high, giving not many hints about the storyline, lazy marketing of the series should be pointed out. Either the makers are not very sure about the project, or they are simply relying on word-of-mouth publicity.
But they must understand that one needs better marketing to sell their product, even if they are confident about it. The series tells the story of Swati, played by Konkana, who wishes to open a restaurant but gets caught amidst a murder. She wants to replace the victim with her husband.
Directed by the brilliant Abhishek Chaubey, who also made movies like “Sonchiriya” and “Udta Punjab,” “Killer Soup” stars Manoj Bajpayee, Konkana, Nasser, Sayaji Shinde in lead roles, and premiered on January 11, 2024, only on Netflix India.
