TVF’s high school drama “I’mmature” started with a sense of innocence and naivety, but with its latest season, these qualities seem to have faded. The first season, which premiered on MX Player, was a huge success among young minds, and due to its popularity, it moved to Prime Video for its subsequent seasons. However, since then, there has been little effort from their side to make the show engaging.
After a mid-second season, they are back with their third season, where Dhruv, the protagonist, and his friends are in their final year of high school, busy doing everything except studying. From desperate attempts to make girlfriends to bullying, the show has everything a high school boy expects to do, but nothing seems to work in favor of the show. There is a girl who falls in one-sided love with Dhruv, her best friend. The story progresses with her stalking and trying to confess her feelings for him, but it all ends too predictably.
It’s just another teenage drama strictly for teenagers. The characters seem to have had little development since the first season. Additionally, one of the lead characters, Chhavi, from the first season, has been replaced. The good thing about the show is that it doesn’t take too much of your time. The fast-paced drama ends quickly. If you have watched its first two seasons, you can consider watching the show for an easy weekend watch. I’mmature Season 3 is available on Prime Video.
