Zack Snyder, after one of the toughest phases, comes back really strong. The director of Batman vs Superman is now associated with Netflix, and both parties are gifting fans what they want.

Snyder, showcasing his affection towards sci-fi, was put on the duty to create Rebel Moon, and the trailers themselves make a very strong statement. But, as the projects are dropping in two parts, one on December 22nd and the other on April 19th, there comes the question.

What comes next for Snyder?

There might be an answer to that as, during his talks with a reputed Hollywood media outlet, he talks about his forgotten work which started as a 300 sequel.

Zack Snyder, during the filming of ‘Army of the Dead’ in 2019, co-wrote ‘Blood and Ashes,’ exploring a gay love story between Alexander the Great and Haphaestion. The script, blending romance with ancient Greek war, found support from Warner executive Courtenay Valenti.

Despite initial reluctance from the studio, Zack and Deborah Snyder now have the rights back for “Blood and Ashes,” the homoerotic ancient Greek war epic.

The Snyders, post-Zack’s exit from Justice League, can now explore other avenues for the project. Zack expressed uncertainty about the market for such a bold film but remains open to the possibility, considering its unique blend of elements.

As of now, he is having quite a busy schedule with both parts of Rebel Moon and is also in talks to do sequels and spin-offs of Army Of The Dead. But, when will we be having one more run in the historical fiction world, a big question indeed.
