It became huge news when Akshay Kumar was roped in to play the negative role in Shankar’s Robot 2.0. The film grew to new heights after Akkis inclusion but do you even know that Akshay is being paid even more than Rajnikanth himself for this film.

Yes you heard that right. Rajni was paid a bomb for this film and everyone was quite aware of this fact. Akshay on the other hand was being paid on a daily basis and there were reports that he was paid two cores a day. And the same amount when calculated overall is even more than the fee paid to Rajni.
This news has created a stutter all over as how come Akki was being paid more than Rajni. News is that Shankar had gone to every probable hero including Kamal to do the negative role but no one did it. As the film will be a trilingual some suggested Akshay’s name and the Bollywood hero was approached.
But when Akki turned down the offer the makers approached him with a fee he couldn’t say no to. The film which is currently in the making stages is gearing up for a year end release.
