Critic Himesh Mankad says that on the very first day of Game Changer’s release, there was the news of a record one hundred and eighty-six crore’s opening, but its lifetime collection also was not that big. The movie was made to be a blockbuster, but it was not. He also mentioned Salaar was made to be a blockbuster too with self-bookings in Hindi, but it was not.
These South Indian films had gone through huge manipulation in the Hindi release and the critics use the analogy of 250 ml of milk in 1 liter water to show the ratio of real bookings and corporate bookings.
More bookings and more sale imply that the movie is good, and people are liking it, and it attracts more people. But this trend of corporate bookings has broken up the integrity of the industry and now everything is being exposed but still stars and producers are not refraining from continuing it.
This latest viral clip has made netizens accuse Ram Charan and Prabhas for the manipulations at the box office. But there are many more who are still going on with this tactic.
