At least 28 people, including several foreign tourists, lost their lives after terrorists launched an attack on the popular tourist destination of Pahalgam in South Kashmir on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi has strongly denounced the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir.

He stated, “I strongly condemn the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. My condolences to those who have lost their loved ones. I pray that the injured recover at the earliest.”
Military helicopters have been deployed to evacuate those injured in the attack.

Following the incident, Prime Minister Modi spoke to Union Minister Amit Shah over the phone and directed him to visit the site and ensure all necessary measures were taken.
Amit Shah is expected to leave for Srinagar shortly to chair an emergency security review meeting with all concerned agencies.

As the internet erupted over this issue, several users pointed out how Indian actor Ajay Devgn has remained silent on the matter.
Amid the chaos, many have also noted that the actor continues to promote his upcoming film’s Raid 2 music video.
Fans called out Devgn for not even making a single tweet about the tragic situation, accusing him of promoting his film over social media instead.
While he hasn’t made any official statement regarding the horrific terror attack, it remains to be seen if he will address the situation.
