Unfortunately, its box office results were very poor. Yes, it seems like the audience didn’t like the yesteryear comic timings as the film. It has disappointed the distributors and exhibitors yet again by its poor performance.

There’s some theory about what led to the cult classic’s disastrous performance at the box office.

Rajkumar Santoshi directorial, co-starring Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, and Paresh Rawal, was released without adequate promotions. Later, the Pahalgam tragedy also led to a restricted premiere with the absence of the leading actors during the events.

As a result, the film was able to collect only Rs. 85 lakhs net revenue in the opening weekend of its re-release. The shocking fact? This collection was much lower than the film’s opening weekend business during the original release in 1994. It won’t be wrong to call it a flop again!

Andaz Apna Apna has reportedly ended its first week with a total of over Rs. 1 crore net revenue.
