After the Sikandar debacle Salman Khan really needs to deliver a superhit or his glory days will be over. Critics feel that he might not find a lead hero role if he fails to turn up big at the box office soon.
Considering other stars of his age who are continuing to give hits and blockbusters, Salman must feel tremendous pressure after a long series of flops. His hope for a redemption at the moment seems to be Battle of Galwan that is helmed by Apoorva Lakhia.

But fans are not happy with the choice of director due to his track record. Apoorva has given only disasters in his entire career except Shootout at Lokhandwala which was a decent hit.
Fans feel afraid that putting hopes in Apoorva is not wise as the screenplay he plans to give out lacks promise. The Galwan Valley battle of 2020 will be portrayed in a war fought without guns and only bare hands and wooden makeshift weapons.

The whole battle happened when China started illegally constructing a road in the Galwan Valley. Indian soldiers bravely fought with minimal ammunition and put their courage to display.
An ode to this valour is Salman’s next Battle of Galwan but hopes are dwindling as the direction and screenplay fails to magnify it’s appeal. Cinema lovers want intense action and heavy war sequences in such genre of films but Apoorva is taking a risk with his cinematic liberties.
