Salman Khan’s Sikandar, directed by AR Murugadoss, is slated for an Eid release. Yesterday, the teaser was released and has received poor responses from audiences.
After watching the teaser, many people on social media criticized AR Murugadoss, claiming that he almost lost his touch with filmmaking, as the teaser felt flat and outdated.

Beyond the criticisms, the lackluster teaser has almost diluted the little hype for the movie Sikandar amongst the audiences, and now the only factor by which the team can bring up the buzz for the movie is the trailer, say the trade experts.
Despite having a Bollywood superstar, Salman Khan, the Sikandar team has failed to create expectations, and even the recently released teaser lacked gripping moments and fell short of expectations.

Conversely, some Bollywood audiences were thrashing AR Murugadoss for delivering an outdated teaser for Salman Khan by comparing it unfavorably to Sivakarthikeyan’s Madharasi teaser, which was well-received.
Questions were raised by the Bollywood audiences as that why AR Murugadoss betrayed Salman Khan. He doesn’t have an interest in delivering a blockbuster movie for Salman Khan while reserving his best efforts for Sivakarthikeyan.

However, the Sikandar team has confirmed that the movie is going to be released on Eid, and let us see whether AR Murugadoss gives a massive comeback or faces a setback alongside Salman Khan after the release.
