Finally, the leading actress of Sultan Anushka Sharma has spoken up regarding the incident, albeit diplomatically. The actress said that although she is not sure about the exact words of Salman Khan, it was obviously a bit insensitive. Anushka also said that she was surprised by this remark and it also made her realise that celebrities like her had responsibility towards what they speak anywhere.
Anushka also defended her character Arfa in Sultan whom people have slammed as regressive saying that choosing love and her baby was a happy choice made by Arfa and that women’s personal choices are definitely not regressive.
