For this project, Imtiaz has chosen to stay away from established superstars. The lead cast includes Diljit Dosanjh, Vedang Raina, and Sharvari. Naseeruddin Shah plays a key role.
According to Bollywood Hungama, the film explores familiar Imtiaz Ali themes of love and relationships. Post-production is currently progressing at a fast pace.
The film also marks a creative collaboration with AR Rahman and lyricist Irshad Kamil. Applause Entertainment has come on board as producer along with Window Seat Films and Mohit Choudhary.
Online reactions to the announcement have largely been positive. Many viewers recalled Imtiaz Ali’s recent comeback with Amar Singh Chamkila, which earned appreciation despite releasing directly on OTT.
