With the current box office trends, Devara is racing towards being a successful film. But fans have a complaint with Janhvi Kapoor’s character in the film.
Many felt that she was portrayed in an obscene and hyper sexualised light. Her role gets even more problematic because she is only given around 15 minutes of screen time as the love interest of Jr. NTR’s character where she appears just in the second half.

Despite all these complaints her sizzling avatar is being loved by Telugu fans. Her presence adds a touch of fresh air to the film that majorly focuses on Jr. NTR and Saif’s battle.
Jumping to Janhvi’s defence, Jr. NTR clarified that the director Koratala Siva has planned a 2 film franchise and this is just Devara: Part 1. Later fans can expect to witness Janhvi in a more prominent role.

Jr. NTR claimed that her character will be woven into the film’s script intricately and this was just an introduction. To those who had complaints with her role this is much relieving while others are loving her presence in Devara.
Janhvi Kapoor acknowledged the love she is receiving with her Telugu debut and thanked the fans. She has not seen such a big fame in Bollywood so far and Telugu industry was very close to her mother as well.
