Many who have watched the recently released Kesari 2 say that it is undeniably one of the best theatrical releases of 2025.
Akshay Kumar delivers a brilliant performance. The background score and music add to the narrative and touch people’s hearts. The cinematography and editing are exceptional, and the film’s visual language comes together beautifully.

The last 20 minutes of the film deeply impacted the audience, and the movie stayed with them long after they left the theatres.
So far, the film has managed to earn around ₹30 crores, which is not a huge collection, but those who have seen it have given it glowing reviews.

Some viewers found the film so powerful that they took to social media to urge the Film Federation of India to send it to the Oscars.
While the film is indeed impressive, it does have certain drawbacks. It takes a number of creative liberties and isn’t entirely historically accurate.

The performances were memorable, but others believe it isn’t strong enough to represent India at the Oscars.
