Maddock Films has been delivering the best results with films and box office collections for more than a year. For now, Maddock Films is all set to give competition to big production companies such as Dharma Productions and Yash Raj Films.
Chhaava has been breaking records and Pen Marudhar has now appreciated Dinesh Vijan and the team of Maddock Films for their recent success. The company’s films such as Munjya and Stree 2 have been distributed by Pen Marudhar.
Maddock has previously impressed audiences with content-driven films before the pandemic like Hindi Medium, Luka Chuppi, and Bala.
Maddock has already expanded its Supernatural Universe where they have finalized eight films that are scheduled to arrive by 2028. There was another film from Maddock, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which unexpectedly turned out to be successful last year.
Maddock has grabbed attention for understanding the requirements of the audience and this is one of the reasons why it has been able to experiment in all the genres, including romance and horror.
Maddock’s current film Chhaava, despite being a historical drama and being released on Valentine’s Day, managed to impress the audiences.
Chhaava also marked Vicky Kaushal’s second collaboration with Maddock Films after Zara Hatke Zara Bachke and it seems like the film might turn out to be the first mega blockbuster from Maddock.
While Maddock has a long list of films on the way, there is a possibility that things might take a different turn, bringing a few flops to their list. It seems like the company has become overconfident and lack of focus from Dinesh Vijan might lead to problems.
Maddock is seemingly preferring quantity over quality like other production companies and this is a choice that has led to the failure of different films over the years. Now it remains to be seen if audiences would accept all the films scheduled to arrive over the next few years.
