Paresh Rawal has finally given clarity on the long-delayed comedy sequel Hera Pheri 3. The veteran actor confirmed that the much-awaited film will start shooting in early 2026.
Speaking about the project, Paresh Rawal revealed that filming will begin in February or March next year. His statement ended years of speculation on whether Raju, Shyam, and Babu Bhaiya would return to screen together.
The movie faced several delays, with frequent director changes and reported disagreements between producers and the creative team. Despite the issues, Rawal clarified that his bond with filmmaker Priyadarshan remains strong.
“A lot has happened but that hasn’t soured my relationship with Priyadarshan. Aise rishta kharab nahi hota hai,” Rawal said, underlining the personal trust they share.
The first two films, released in 2000 and 2006, became cult classics for their situational humour and memorable dialogues. Fans have long demanded the reunion of Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal.
With Bollywood reviving older franchises as safe bets, Hera Pheri 3 has gained even more attention. Rawal’s comments confirm that the makers are determined to carry the franchise forward in its original style.
Whether this new instalment can meet the huge expectations of fans is yet to be seen. For now, the wait is over as the third chapter finally has a confirmed start date.
