Sajid Khan’s career took a deep plunge back in 2018 when while filming Houseful 4, multiple women levied sexual harassment allegations against him.

In a recent interview, the actor-director opened up about how he spent the past six years ever since he was accused in the #MeToo movement.

“I thought of ending my life many times in the last 6 years,” said Khan.

He talked about how despite getting a clearance from the Indian Film and Television Directors Association (IFTDA), he is trying to get back on his feet. The past six years have taken a huge toll on him both mentally and financially.

He had to sell his house and live in a rented flat due to no work and no earnings. He was at an all-time low.

Khan was accused of harassing multiple women who wanted roles in films. Many say that this is retribution for his past misdeeds.

Ironically, the director had also once claimed that he couldn’t make flop films as he knows best what the audience wants. However, the last few of his films have turned out to be flops, failing at the box office.

What Khan is going through is definitely a very difficult phase in his life. But he had also turned the lives of many women into a living hell, and needed to get punished for his ill deeds.
