Salman Khan Acquitted in Poaching Cases

The court opined that there was no evidence to prove that the animals who were found dead were shot by the actor’s licensed gun.

The driver of the jeep that was used by the actor and his co-stars for their alleged hunting helped Salman Khan’s case. However, one more poaching case is pending in Rajasthan about the actor. It is up to the state government to decide now whether to appeal to the Supreme Court to over-rule today’s decision.

Way back in 1998, Salman Khan was accused of shooting an endangered and protected antelopes in two separate incidents while he was shooting for a film in the desert state. Earlier in 2007, Salman Khan spent a week in jail in Jodhpur before being granted bail. Earlier last year, the actor was also acquitted in a hit and run case.
