Subhan Nadiadwala's Bollywood Debut

We are currently living in an era where children of popular personalities are getting launched in Bollywood. The list has now got a new name, Subhan Nadiadwala, the son of producer Sajid Nadiadwala.

As per a new update, director Shashank Khaitan, known for Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania and Badrinath Ki Dulhania, has reportedly selected Subhan to play the lead role in an intense love story. A source has claimed that the film will go on floors by the second half of this year.

The insider also mentioned that Shashank’s script demanded a new face and that Subhan is participating in acting workshops and training sessions to ensure that his debut is successful. He is even enhancing his dancing and action skills based on the requirements of the script.

The fate of the film remains unknown for now and in case it is a remake, it has few chances of surviving at the box office. Audiences are easily rejecting new actors nowadays and we have seen that in the recently released Loveyappa.

Subhan’s father also tried the same a few years ago with Ahan Shetty in Tadap, which failed to create any buzz and was a flop at the box office, seemingly destroying the career of Ahan, the son of Suniel Shetty.

On the other hand, Sajid Nadiadwala’s films such as 83, Chandu Champion, and Heropanti 2 are also not working, specifically after the COVID-19 pandemic. The teaser of Sajid’s upcoming film Sikandar, where Salman Khan plays the lead, has also received a mixed response from the audience.

In such a bad situation, it is not a wise decision to launch a new face in the film industry. Subhan’s career as an actor does not have a very good future until his father gets back to his old position of delivering good films to the audience.

Even if the promotional material is attractive, people are going to reject Subhan without a second thought. So for now, it is better for Shashank to drop the idea of launching Subhan.
