But this ambitious effort raises an eyebrow considering her last outing, The Archies, which didn’t quite click with the critics or the audience.

The monologue surrounding her will be all about love, heartbreak, and self-discovery. It’s almost inevitable that people will compare this to Kartik Aaryan’s much-appreciated long monologues in Pyaar Ka Punchnama.

Kapoor, however, cannot be as effortlessly funny and relate-able as Aaryan was in the previous film. Social media reactions are full of skepticism, with many saying whether she is going to be able to hold the audience for the entire eight minutes.

Although the film’s director, Advait Chandan, and co-star Junaid Khan have garnered praise, Kapoor’s lengthy monologue could either elevate her career or become a misstep that audiences find hard to overlook.
