Chhaava Bigger Hit Than Animal

After Vicky Kaushal’s massive success in ‘Chhaava’, many are excited for ‘Love & War’, his next project with Sanjay Leela Bhansali, co-starring Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt.

Although Ranbir is the first lead of the film, the buzz seems to be naturally revolving around Vicky Kaushal after his power-packed portrayal of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj.

Trade analysts seem to be getting in on the conversation as well, with many prominent names voicing their opinions.

Analyst Taran Adarsh said, “Sanjay Leela Bhansali and S S Rajamouli are the best filmmakers that we have today. Hence, Love & War will be huge. The acceptability is there (Vicky Kaushal’s) and you need that mass support which this film has given him…

…Moreover, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is known for making some great films. Hence, the excitement level for it would be skyhigh and the film will get all the love.”

Vishek Chauhan, the owner of Roopbani Cinema in Purnia, Bihar remarked, “If your second lead has given a bigger hit than the first lead, then it definitely adds a lot of value to the film. Sanjay Leela Bhansali would be under pressure…

…Vicky must also be putting some pressure on Bhansali so that his newfound image after Chhaava remains consistent.”

Film Analyst and producer Girish Johar said, “That film will definitely show his acting prowess. It’s different and I guess more somber than Chhaava. Hence, he’ll get to show his versatility. Moreover, it is backed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali and so, it would be huge.”

With Vicky Kaushal riding the horse of success, it will be interesting to see whether these opinions will coincide with reality.

It won’t be surprising if Vicky’s hype and recently skyrocketed image as an actor leads to him overshadowing Ranbir Kapoor, the official ‘main lead’ of the film.
