Greta Grewig’s international phenomenon, Barbie, is coming to theaters exclusively in IMAX, the highest quality to experience a movie.
Barbie will hit IMAX screen on September 22 and will remain only for a week. But here’s the catch, this re-release includes exclusive post-credit scenes for fans, selected by Grewig herself.
Barbie has already shattered box office records for the year. Moreover, it has become the highest grossing movie by a female director amassing $1.2 billion globally.
The re-release will be limited to North America and a few select theaters around the world. Even after a month since its release, Barbie is filling theatres with audiences. With this new post-credit footage, it seems that those box office numbers will increase even more.
