“It’s been a while since you had one of those nightmares”, well it is a nightmare for every other new release because “Dune Part Two” is still having its rumbling.
Directed by Denis Villeneuve, part two is still profiting from the imax collection. Dune fanatics can again go back to the desert planet riding the sandworm from Friday 19th April, because “Dune Part Two” is again coming back to the 70mm IMAX screen.
Just from the IMAX format the movie grossed $139.4 million, and it is not stopping anytime soon. Apart from having such a great mind bending storyline the plus point of the movie is Denis’s own vision.
As he kept Herbert’s vision intact, his own inputs inside the story are implacable. The story is filled with political connotations and Denis did such a great job in portraying all the aspects is truly remarkable.
The Timothee fandom is saying that they have watched the movies over 20 times in IMAX, and to be honest the IMAX premium ticket rate is quite high. So, a lot of profit is being generated from the repetitive watch. Which made the movie the 7th highest grossing film in IMAX history, and also Timothee Chalamet’s biggest blockbuster.
Before the end of Dune Part two, the announcement of Part Three, “Dune Messiah” is a cherry on top. As Denis said in a recent interview that if it is not greater than Part Two then he won’t make a part three, is giving us the hint of Dune Three being an even bigger blockbuster. The third part will be a blend of “Dune Messiah” and “Children Of Dune”.
With that announcement being published fans can go and celebrate it by watching Dune Part Two again on the big screen because it is meant for the bigger experience.
