In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, heart-throb George Clooney was seen breaking several hearts as he announced his severe lack of interest in playing Batman again.
Clooney, first playing the role in 1997, with the movie Batman & Robin. The movie despite being regarded as one of the worst superhero movies ever, gave birth to one or the most acclaimed and loved actor round the globe. Since then, Clooney has been loved in the role and even keeps a photo of himself in the role of Batman in his office.
This announcement comes months after his cameo in DC’s The Flash movie, a role which had recieved mixed reviews from the fans with some appreciating the icon while some going as far as to saying that the actor has now lost his edge. In the straightforward statement, Clooney shut down all speculations about his return as Batman in the DCU and future projects.
Giving a blunt reply to the question of any chances of him making a return, the actor said that he doesn’t think there are enough drugs in the world for him to go back into it. This marks a new shift in the trajectory of the DCEU and it will be a nice ride seeing what lies ahead for us and the company, both.
