Napoleon has managed to attain an impressive 82 percent score on Rotten Tomatoes. So far the movie has received 22 reviews from critics who mostly praised the movies.
Critics have lauded the grand scale at which the movie has been made. The movie has been highly anticipated for the comeback of the duo Ridley Scott and Joaquin Phoenix. The critics have praised the performance by both Joaquin and Vanessa Kirby who is also an academy award nominee.
The two hour 38 minute period drama revolves around the life of French emperor Napoleon Bonaparte, his rise to the Empire and fall. The film has been appreciated for being an ambitious project at a time when not everyone is willing to take that risk.
Napoleon is written by David Scarpa and directed by Ridley Scott. Apple Original Films and Sony Pictures are distributing the movie worldwide. It will have its theatrical release across the globe on the 22nd of November.
