San Diego Comic Con Can Be DC’s Revival

DC might just be planning on making a comeback in the San Diego Comic Con 2024. Ever since its conception the road has been quite rough for DC studios. They already had a cinematic universe to catch on to and at the same time it had to deal with the delicate balance between its relationship with fans and the studios. But now that James Gunn has taken the wheel, could this be the turning point for DC?

While the beloved studio was absent from the Comic Con 2023, many speculate that this year’s Comic Con will be a necessary comeback which it desperately needs. What is there to expect, you may ask? Well for starters we may get more casting updates on the new chapter of DCU. Updates on “Superman: Legacy” and “Batman: The Brave And Bold”, both of these projects are monumental for the ship to sail for Gunn as these two characters are the poster boys of DC. Furthermore, we may get updates on Matt Reeves’ The Batman part II. Fans will also be eyeing the animated project “Creature Commandos” which will be a T.V. series.

With a rich mythology and a strong fan base, DC holds the potential of ruling the Comic Con. The highly ambitious GunnVerse needs some serious marketing, given the reputation the DCEU generated. The event is scheduled from July 25 to July 28. However for the DC fans, they should scribble down the date July 27th. What new comes out of the pocket of DC is to be seen.
