Mythri, Prashanth Neel’s 418 Set for Release

418 receives A certificate ahead of September 18 release

Mythri Movie Makers is bringing the horror thriller 418 to cinemas worldwide on September 18, with the film focusing on darkness, suspense, and psychological elements.

There is a fresh creative combination behind the film. Prashanth Neel presents the project, while Kirtan Nadagouda makes his debut as director and writer. Producers Naveen Yerneni and Yalamanchili Ravi Shankar are mounting the film, with Surya Raj, Charan Lakkaraju, and Preethi Pagadal as the principal cast.

418 has now crossed a key milestone ahead of its theatrical outing. The film has completed censorship and has been awarded an A certificate. The certification indicates that the movie is aimed at an adult audience and moves away from the familiar horror template.

The makers are opting for a narrative driven by fear and uncertainty rather than comedy. The release date poster reflects this approach. It captures a man seated on a floor inside a poorly lit space, with a hand extending toward a strange blood-like trail shaped into an A.

While the previously released promotional material received a good response, the makers are planning to come up with regular updates as the release date is not far away.
