Only recently we read Samantha walking out of the remake of ‘Bangalore Days’ for the reasons best known to her. And hero Sidharth too followed suit. The makers had no choice but to go for replacements for the main lead roles. Apparently they want actors who are popular in both Telugu and Tamil film industries as the remake is going to be a bilingual.
The latest, it is learnt that Telugu girl Sri Divya has replaced Samantha for ‘Bangalore Days’ as the ‘Manasara’ heroine is popular in both the industries. It’s learnt that the makers also watched her Tamil superhit movies ‘Vaarutha Padutha Vaalibar Sangham’ and ‘Jeeva’, the superhit films which made Sri Divya the goddess of medium budget movies in Kollywood.
After the Bommarillu Bhaskar’s team finds replacement for Sidharth, the film would probably go on floors from March onwards. Both Rakul Preet Singh who came in as replacement for Samantha in Ram Charan’s movie and Sri Divya for ‘Bangalore Days’ remake, have really bagged big films which might probably put them in top league in Tollywood.
