Akhil’s second movie needs to be planned meticulously to come out of the first film failure. So, he needs a director who can give him a hit trying a concept which would cater to the tastes of present day audiences. Hence Vamsi Paidipally’s name surfaced.

Though Akhil says that his project with the director is on and they are both waiting for a subject, Vamsi Paidipally is non-committal. Already Nagarjuna announced on stage that Vamsi is going to direct Akhil’s movie. But Akhil says to wait for the official announcement!
When rumors surfaced that Vamsi walked out of Akhil’s movie, Akhil vented anger on the rumors and said the project is still on. However, Vamsi says that he didn’t narrate any subject yet. Since the concept is very important these days, he can only talk after he finds a suitable subject that will excite both of them.
This purely tells us that Vamsi didn’t start working on the project yet.
