Amala in cameo for Akhil?

Amala Akkineni who was last seen playing a supporting role in Sekhar Kammula’s Life is Beautiful will be seen in a Telugu film again. Sources say the veteran actress will be making a cameo in her son’s debut movie Akhil.

Amala keeps getting approached by filmmakers regularly but she usually is reluctant to act in films anymore. It was after ages that she agreed to be part of Life is Beautiful due to director Sekhar Kammula’s persuasion. Guess, Akhil’s debut wouldn’t have required that much effort.

Akhil’s debut film named after him has completed its shooting and the makers are currently busy overlooking the arrangements of audio release on September 20. Akhil will arrive as announced on October 22.
