There had been news that ‘Lingaa’ distributors are going to go for second time fast for indefinite period till the producer of ‘Lingaa’ Rockline Venkatesh settles the losses incurred on them. But the latest information on the controversy says that the distributors and producer of the film have come to an amicable solution for the issue.
It is learnt that Tirupur Subramanyam of Shakti Films was suggested by Superstar Rajnikanth and Rockline Venkatesh who acted as the mediator between two parties and successfully made a feasible settlement. Theatres owners will be refunded according to the option they choose, either the minimum guarantee model or the percentage model.
Theatre Owners Association was happy with the latest settlement and thanked Subramanyam, the Superstar and Rockline Venkatesh for bringing back the smile on theatre owners’ face. The problem arose because the distributors bought the superstar’s film at exorbitant rates due to lack of experience as many of them are new to trade.
