Suriya is currently busy shooting for Tamil action film Anjaan, which is likely to come out during Independence day week. Following the success of Singam 2 in Telugu, Anjaan will also be dubbed in Telugu and released as Sikandar, according to sources close to the film’s unit.
Lagadapati Sridhar who earlier produced films such as Evadigola Vaadidhe, Style, Sneha Geetham and Potugadu is set to produce the Telugu version of the Surya starrer. Samantha is paired opposite Surya for the first time in this action entertainer that has music by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Surya is playing dual roles in the film of which one will be a hardcore gangster and the other one as an engineer.
Let’s see if Suriya can continue his winning streak in Telugu as well because even Telugu dubbed films of his brother, who has better market, in the recent past have bombed.
