The Hollywood film Avengers Infinity War has blown away the Indian trade expectation by scoring a record opening day in India. At around 31.10 Cr, it is the biggest opening of the year surpassing Baaghi 2.

When one looks solely at the Hollywood movies, Avengers Infinity Wars has shattered the records. No Hollywood film has so far reached 15 Cr opening whereas Infinity War has crossed 30. What is the most fantastic aspect of the achievement is that the Superhero flick has done this on 2000 screens only. A big Bollywood movie in comparison releases on more than 3500 screens.
The weekend, according to trade will be phenomenal. The Jungle Book is the highest grossing Hollywood film ever in India. The trade expects Avengers Infinity War to cross that in the final run.
