Every now and then we keep hearing the sagas of casting couch in the film industry but it is seen as a normal thing in any glamorous industry and therefore, allegations made aren’t taken seriously. Struggling actress Sri Reddy’s heart-wrenching narration of the struggling actresses will move hearts, for sure.

She talked at length about casting couch and how this is propagated using a code word. In Tamil Industry, the other word to ask if the actress is ready to sleep is ‘Compromise’ and in Telugu, they ask for ‘Commitment’. The code word is different but the intention is the same reveals the actress.
She took big names like Nani, Allu Arjun, Allu Aravind, Mohan Babu etc…and blasted them for not encouraging Telugu talent. Even if the Telugu girls are screen ready after fighting with parents, expensive grooming and strict diets; they are asked to compromise. Painful reality!
She painfully narrated how the newbies are exploited by the producer to the cameraman for the sake of an offer. Sometimes, even after compromising, the young girls aren’t given opportunities. Sri Reddy acted in films like ‘Aravind 2’, ‘Nenu Naanna Abadhdham’ and yet to be released ‘Zindagi’.
