Even as Bajrangi Bhaijan continues to rock at the box offices in India, the situation in Pakistan is a little glum. Although the movie is appreciated generally in the Pakistani audience, some sections of the population seem to have a grudge with it. And they are taking out their anger on the Censor Board of Pakistan claiming that they are passing on too many India films.

The situation is troublesome to the extent that the chairman of Pakistan’s Central Board of Film Censors, Fakhr-e-Alam is receiving hate tweets and even threats to his life.
Meanwhile, Chand Nawab, the Pakistani journalist who inspired Nawaz Siddiqui’s character in the film is seeking compensation from Salman Khan for his contribution to the film. According to him, he gave the inspiration for the character and thus should be recompensed for it.
