There is a lot of difference between last Friday and the coming Friday. Last friday there was a lot of optimism attached to the new films and though the festival season had passed away, the festive environment regarding release of new films kept the verve of the celebrations environment. But the coming Friday isn’t going to be the same. There is a certain undefined gloom lingering. Hudhud Cyclone came in between the two Fridays and showed the disastrous effect when nature wages war against humans.

In this scenario, Manchu Manoj’s ‘Current Theega’ is postponed indefinitely. Many were expecting Naga Chaitanya’s ‘Oka Laila Kosam’ might also be postponed because any film that hits screens this Friday would suffer a lot in the North Coastal areas of AP. Today, while talking to media persons in Annapurna Studios, Chaitu announced that they would like to go forward with the release of their film this coming Friday with whatever theatres available as they have already announced the release date. Chaitu sympathised with the victims of the cyclone but going ahead with the release of the film. Probably OLK would be the only Telugu film that would have Friday release this week.
