Koushik Pegallapati’s Chaavu Kaburu Challaga starring Karthikeya Gummakonda and Lavanya Tripathi despite the huge buzz, the film failed to tick the box-office. After a brief theatrical run, the film was soon pulled off from theaters and announced for an OTT release, which is getting telecast from today on OTT platform, Aha, which has Allu Aravind, who is the honcho of the digital platform.
GA2 Pictures is managed by Allu Aravind and Bunny Vyas. So far they have produced Bale Bale Magadivoy, Geetha Govindam, Taxiwaala, Prati Roju Pandage. All the films have been blockbuster except for Chaavu Kaburu Challaga which gave them their first flop.
Following the debacle and the feedback the team got, for the first time they re-edited Chaavu Kaburu Challaga for the OTT audience. The scenario however is rare but since the film and Aha has come from Allu Aravind stable, they got a chance to rectify their glitch and present a better version for OTT audience. It may be recalled that certain films which didn’t do well on big screen, however surprised by getting good views on OTT platform. Looks like Chaavu Kaburu Challaga would turn one, as the makers have rectified their mistakes by trimming it down.
On the work front, Karthikeya will next be seen in Sri Saripalli’s film where he plays an NIA officer. Buzz also has it that he would be teaming up with star director Sukumar and then playing an antagonist in Thala Ajith’s film.
