This is the first time six shows permission has been granted for a film in Andhra Pradesh in many years. The Price hike is also massive when compared to any big film in the last five years or even more.
Producer Naga Vamsi who bagged the Rights of Devara for AP and TG applied for Permission and promptly got it.

Immediately after the G.O. was issued, Naga Vamsi posted a message on X thanking the Government, Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan, and Cinematography Minister Kandula Durgesh.
“We extend our sincere gratitude to the Government of AP, Deputy CM Shri. @PawanKalyan garu and Cinematography Minister Shri. @kanduladurgesh garu for prompt and immediate response to our request to give ticket price hikes and extra shows. Your support will enhance our commitment to bring many more memorable theatrical experiences to audiences. The #Devara Havoc Begins in theatres on 27th September (sic), he posted.

TDP supporters were upset about how Naga Vamsi ignored the Protocol and did not mention the Chief Minister.
Some of them reminded me how Naga Vamsi specifically mentioned a Janasena Minister too. They questioned how he could forget how the previous Chief Minister treated his Bheemla Nayak.
As the messages poured in about the same, Naga Vamsi immediately corrected and posted another Tweet.
“Special thanks to our dynamic CM of AP, Shri @ncbn garu, and our young leader, Shri @naralokesh garu for such a prompt response. We are always grateful for your support, sir (sic),” he posted quoting the previous Tweet.
This is not the first time a protocol error has crept in with respect to the film industry.
In June, a team of Tollywood producers met Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan in Vijayawada in a courtesy meeting. The team also includes Naga Vamsi. But they did not meet the Chief Minister to date.
Luckily for the industry, Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan are so bonded together that the former is not offended despite these repeated errors. Just imagine someone like Jagan in that place.
