In Kalki, Anna received decent praise for her role, who helps protect Deepika Padukone’s character from bounty hunters and sacrifices her life.
Recently, some screenshots circulating on social media suggest that Anna posted a story about a review on her social media, appreciating her role as Kyra.
The alleged review praised Anna’s performance as a “firecracker” and compared her scenes to Mad Max Fury Road.
However, the same review criticized Prabhas’ performance, calling it cringe and not funny. It also took a dig at his song with Disha Patani in the film.
She wrote “There were few moments in the first half that I felt could have been avoided and made the movie real classic. The unwanted comedy where Prabhas was trying to be funny (seemed very cringe) and a song sequence that doesn’t fit in all with the feel of the movie.” Even though it is a fact, this frank feedback did not sit well with Prabhas’s fans.
The story is no longer visible on her account, leading to speculation that she deleted it after facing backlash from Prabhas’ fans. Whether the screenshots are real or fake is unclear.
Even if the story was real, it’s possible that Anna Ben shared it simply because it praised her performance, without noticing the negative remarks about Prabhas. There must be nothing intentional about it.
