After ‘Manam’s phenomenal success at the box-office, Naga Chaitanya is riding high for the critical acclaim he received for his performance. People could make out a clear improvement regarding his acting prowess. But the credit of the success doesn’t belong to him alone. There are two other Akkineni heroes viz legendary ANR and Nagarjuna who rightly deserve the credit for success alongwith Chaitu. Hence Chaitu at present needs a solo hit to prove his stamina at the box-office.
Most of the credit of Chaitu’s successful films went to his co-stars; ‘Em Maya Chesave’ credit to Samanta, ‘100% Love’ credit to Tamanna and ‘Tadaka”s credit had to be shared with Sunil. So Chaitu has all his hopes pinned up to his upcoming release ‘Auto Nagar Surya'(ANR). The film had to face lot of financial hassles and many a time the film’s release had to be postponed causing a lot of anxiety whether the film would ever see the sun.
Finally, the release date of ANR is sealed and director Dev Katta alongwith producer Achi Reddy announced it as 27th June. Especially the duo conveyed their gratefulness to Dil Raju, Alankar Prasad, Usha Pictures Balakrishna who came forward to release the film. Director Dev Katta opines that the film would define Naga Chaitanya and himself. The audio of the film released a way back, had been a huge success.
