Actor Siddharth surprised many with his tonsured head recently. Some even doubted it might be a new look he is going to sport in one of his films. But later everyone understood that he offered his hair to Lord Venkateshwara. The reason behind is simple. Siddharth’s much awaited Tamil film ‘Jigathanda’s release has been delayed for quite a few months. Actually it was touted to be released alongside Rajnikanth’s ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ but got delayed again and again. ‘Kochadaiiyaan’ came and went away but no trace of ‘Jigarthanda’.
The differences which crept because of the film’s censorship and commercial prospects of the producer are said to be one of the reasons for the film’s delay. Siddharth has pinned up all his hopes on this movie as this movie is listed by Forbes as ‘must watch’ of the year. Siddharth is presently going through a low phase in both Tollywood and Kollywood. It is not much a surprise that he is awaiting the release of his films to speak up for him during this low phase. Finally his prayers for Lord Venkateshwara had been answered and the new release date of the film is announced. ‘Jigarthanda’ directed by Karthik Subbaraju is going to hit screens on 25th of July.
