Tata Trust which carries out several charity operations with the motto to give back to the country for the money they earn and the business they do here has come forward to help the Andhra Pradesh state which is battered by the Hudhud Cyclone. Tata Trusts Chairman Ratan Tata reached out to the state Chief Minister. While expressing his solidarity in this crisis time, he also gave a commitment to help 3 Crore rupees for the restoration and rehabilitation works.
Amara Raja Group of Companies which is owned by MP Galla Jayadev belonging to the ruling Telugu Desam Party has announced a donation of Rs.1 crore to the Chief Minister’s relief fund. The MP from Guntur also announced Rs.25 lakh from AP Local Area Development Fund and his two month salary as his personal contribution.
US based Pharma company, Hospira Inc which is very soon going to set up a pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Visakhapatnam, has donated Rs.60 lakh to the CM Relief Fund.
