Zanzeer wrapped up its last leg of shooting recently. Coincidently, it was also the final day of shooting for Sanjay Dutt before he goes into prison. Consequently, it was a day of great emotional upheaval for the entire cast and crew and there was much of implicit bluster, false optimism and true wistfulness.
An eyewitness from the set revealed that the final shooting for ‘Zanjeer’ had been done at the Chandivali Studio in suburban Andheri. Admiring Sanjay Dutt’s spirit, the witness said that Sanjay drove all the way from his home in Pali Hill to the studio even though it is a good 2-hour drive and he was leaving behind his wife and kids with whom he wanted to spend the final days of freedom. However, Sanjay was obligated to be there in view of the fact that everyone else had flown in for the final leg of shooting from various other cities.
